Function
A function is defined by the fule that F(N) equals the nmber of positive integeres less than N and has no factor common with N other than 1. If P is Prime then, F(P) =?
A. P-1
B. P-2
C. P+1/2
D. P-1/2
E. 2
Answer is A. any help on how to solve this would be appreciative.

Yea but even using the answer, i dont get the same amount. using nine minutes I get $4.32 for Plan A and .72 cents for Plan B. Is this question jsut a typo....it was on the GMAC practice exam.

I have looked at this problem a million times and dont see how to get this answer. Phone Company X has plan A and Plan B. Positive / Negative
If AX + B = 0, is X>0?
1. A + B > 0
2. A - B > 0
Is there any easier way to do this question other than test numbers? I could not think of any other way to do this problem.

What is LCM of X, 6, and 9
1. LCM of X and 6 is 30
2. LCM of X and 9 is 45

If XY + Z = X(Y+Z) Than.
1. X=0 and Z=0
2. X=1 and Y=1
3. X=1 and Y=0
4. Y=1 or Z=0
5. X=1 or Z=0
Answer is E.
Why could it not be 1 as well?

Visiting the school twice
I plan on applying to UT next year and want to visit campus before I submit my application for the obvious reasons. The question is, if they ask me for an interview, is it very important to go out there again for a face to face rather than a phone interview lets say? I would undoubtedly go out there...

Congrats on the great score. What was the workflow like for Manhattan? Did you do say all Math one day and verbal the next or was it mixed up? Did you go through the books in the order they are numbered in? Did you go through the entire book before doing any OG problems or after every chapter? Thanks
