Hi "technically" you use "due to" only with the following pattern NOUN + VERB TO BE + DUE TO. Some grammarians argue that due to is a adjectival prepositional phrase, thus it should always modify a noun. My opinion is that until you see an official problem in which GMAT says due ...

1) Read the sentence, extracting the core 2) look at the answer choices, looking for a split. Don't actually read them, just look for a split that let you eliminate answer choices. 3) if you kind re-split using another criteria do so, until you have only correct answer choices, from a grammar point ...

Hey but square root can be negative as well.. It's not fair to assume it to be positive square root of 25 can be 5 or -5. Anyways can you please explain, how to solve this particular problem? in this case sqrt(x) is always positive. when you pick up numbers you want to fulfill the condition of the ...

Re: Any tips for finding the prime factorization 84,700 quic

I tried searching but, I found no answers that satisfied me. Can anybody offer any tips for breaking up larger numbers into primes for example a problem in the Manhattan guides for the prime factorization of 84,700. I just got stuck by the size of the number. Usually I will just start halving until...

in GMAT land you only consider square root of a positive number so x cannot be negative if you try to calculate sqrt(x). Answering your question if x = 16 sqrt(x) = 4 or -4 then for the question you posted. sqrt(x) is integer so x is integer as well. statement 1 tell us that x is between 11 and 17 s...

IMO E you can solve the question by picking up numbers. I think is easy to see that if x,y and z are greater than 1 the statement is true and both statements will be sufficient for instance x = 3, y = 4 and z = 2 we know that if a number is between 0 and 1 when you square it gets smaller so that is ...

iamcste is right.

according to the explanation the question should provide the following information

ax + ay + az = 15

then you can apply a(x+y+z) = 15 and since a = 5
x + y + z = 3

First the questions says that n is negative and that n^2 < 1/100. When you have a inequality such as x > y and x and y are both negative if you square both sides you have to flip the inequality x > y ---> x^2 < y^2 now if you compare this equivalence to the one in the stimulus x^2 < y^2 ---> x > y n...
