I got the same exact score and breakdown as you on my last test, had a 710 and high 600s on my practice tests. From my experience verbal on the actual gmat is way harder than the gmatprep or mgmat stuff. Right now I'm just doing more practice sets and building up my stamina by reading more newspaper...

would it help if I do the OG 13 guide? Ive already done OG12 twice. I know there are only about 120 new questions in there, but it could possibly help me reinforce my skills.

Why is the verbal so hard on the actual test?
I took my 2nd GMAT test today and scored 640(44Q and 33V). which is not great but a noticeable improvement over my previous score of 600 (q40 V33!!!) The frustrating thing is that on my MGMAT practice tests I scored 38 & most recently 41 on verbal, while I got a 37 on the GMAT Prep 1. Why is it ...

I just looked over the answers i got wrong on the quant part and tried to solve each one. I ended up getting all but 2 right.
