So what if the question was being discussed 3years ago? How does that change your prep for the GMAT? Does it make the Q any less relevant? Hardly--you already know these are retired Qs, you just dont know when they were retired. It takes atleast 6months of printing before a book is released to the m...

GMAC very clearly states that questions in the OG are retired GMAT questions . Scoretop, as has been pointed out earlier, was publishing "live" questions and selling this to other students. Now, a.) only a handful of students purchased this which means the rest of the world didn't. There's...

This is of the form a+a + b+b+b = 2a + 3b

So now you have 2.2^5 + 3.3^5

But you know that 2.2 = 2^2 and 2.2^2 =2^3 i.e. a^m x a^n = a^(m+n)

So you get 2^6 + 3^6

I posted on that thread under the same id. You didnt read my response to the portion that you've quoted?? This is a pointless discussion. There's no way to substantiate claims that it's getting tougher in India. You are quoting a person who asked 6 out of nearly 250,000 people who gave the GMAT. Tha...

if, as i suspect, you are in india, check www.gmatscratchpad.com Disclaimer I reviewed their product Also, as far as i know, in india they only give you 1pad and 1pen at the time of the exam. you should raise your hand as soon as you start on the last page, and they will replace it for you. Though a time and work question, this can easily be solved without applying any formula. The tap that fills was opened at 1pm and at 11pm the tank was full => the tap was open for 10hrs Given the rate of filling, we know that 2.5times the tank capacity of water was poured into the tank, but tank onl...

I dont think it has anything to do with the browser and more to do with the formatting of the board, especially when attachments are in the post. I've seen this on other forums too-- occassionally the image will overlap and extend out of a post, thus messing up with the overall formatting of the boa...

again-- until and unless you've read in on the mba.com website please do not believe rumours!! what's on the mba.com site is official!!

A little more proactiveness on actually reading up about the test before attempting to prep for it would be beneficial to all.

I do not work for Stacy Blackman

The mba.com website clearly states that ALL your scores will be sent to the schools you choose to send your scores to. Why would you want to send your old score anyways? ? The idea behind re-taking the GMAT is to improve your score right?
