So do we have to "assume" that once their pension increased the children will not give them any more money? Isn't that an assumption that we just made up ourselves . . . shouldn't "E" say the children "supplemented"?

since you are keeping the "10 acres" constant . . . there is an easier way to do this.

5 workers__________10 acres___________20hours

1 worker___________10 acres___________100 hours

so . . . if it takes 1 worker 100 hours, it would take eight workers, 100/8 = 12.5

Why can't we just make the highest 50 and all the rest of the 14 integers = 25. That way we can have 50-25 = 25?

13/12 gives remainder of 1

17/12 gives remainder 5

29/12 gives remainder 5

go with the one that occur the most in my opinion, however the wording of this questions seems wrong
