Final test result 730 ( 50 | 38 ) it was very hard for me to focus at the end :( I had quant 30 minutes left for the last 6 questions... I thought I completely destroyed this part :( but 50 is ok. Overall I am not happy, but for sure I am not sad, so its ok ;). Best regards and thanks for all the he...

Large odd number? How about 300000000000000003 ? :) one clever edit: how about 20000000..........................000000000000000000000000001? It is sure that there are large numbers which are divisible by 3 or 7 with an 1 at the end. There could a lot of other prime factors like 17, 23... I argued l...

Thats exactly the way I solved it. But you need to be careful. If one SUV is chosen there are not only 19 SUVs left, but also only 99 cars total. I just was too lazy to calculate the result exactly. I recognized that it is GREAT to approximate the calculation. So you should look at the answer choice...

One week a certain vehicle rental outlet has a total of 40 cars, 12 trucks, 28 vans, and 20 SUV's available. Andre and Barbara went to the vehicle rental outlet and chose 2 vehicles at random, with the condition that Andre and Barara would not select two of the same type of vehicle (in other words, ...

tough prime factor... GMAT Prep Test
Hey guys, I would just like to share this one: For every positive EVEN integer n, the function h(n) is defined to be the product of all the even integers from 2 to n, inclusive. If p is the smallest prime factor of h(100) + 1, then p is (A) between 2 and 10 (B) between 10 and 20 (C) between 20 and 3...

Finished the first official GMATPrep with 750 (49/42). Quant: Lost a huge amount of time during the first quant questions. I got 13 incorrect (last 5, just not enough time left :/... If i had had guess one 7Minute question I would have made maybe 3 errors less...). Verbal section: Wrong answer first...

ok, lets have a look at these equotations: I c+d+m+cd+cm+dm+a=100 II cd+cm+dm+2a=110 both need to be true. We have no information about the value of cd,cm,dm (e.g. cd is cellphone AND dvd player; VENN DIAGRAMM!). So we get the max for a with cd=cm=dm=0 (sum of them is minimal). => 2a=110 <=> a=55 Le...

Yeah (C) should be right
a stands for all 3
i m+cm+dm+a=55
ii d+cd+dm+a=75
iii c+cd+cm+a=80
=> i+ii+iii
I c+d+m+(cd+cm+dm)2+3a=210
II c+d+m+cd+cm+dm+a=100
=> I-II
cd+cm+dm+2a=110
max 55 (I and II are ok!)
min 10 (c+d+m = 0)
IMO (C)
