You're going to have take this test a whole lot more seriously, by a magnitude of 10. i had the same mentality when I first started. I wanted to get a 650 in order to get into a pt program, my aunt said that she browsed through material in a month, took the test and received a 650. I thought, if i g...

I'm in the same situation as you in school choices. I'm in the process of apps for my mba in philadelphia, with a 3.1gpa 660gmat. I live in Philadelphia, and there is just soo much information put out there for the two schools. You read one place Drexel is #10 and Villanova is #11 in part-time mbas,...

660... beat it! goodbye!
After 9 excrutiating months, I can finally say I beat the GMAT 660(42Q 38V). I was aiming for a part-time program. So this definitely got me over the hump, considering I took the test in February and received a 570(38Q 31V). I've been stressed out for the past few weeks since my gmatPrep has been gi...

i dunno, my results are the complete opposite of yours, as you can see from my last 3 tests. jul4-mgmat cat 3: 640 45Q 33V jul12-gmatPrep: 570 44Q 27V jul18-mgmat cat 4: 670 44V 37V i know there is a margin of error on these tests, but this is ridiculous. I do agree with you that the quant section k...

personally i like them. sc is awesome, it's like my sc bible, i've gone through it abt 3 times, wrote down the whole thing in msword, and have it reread to me using reader sw on a daily basis, helped me immensely with my sc, which WAS my weakest topic. the detail in the math is great. it gives you a...

i agree, i talked abt this with the instructor in the mgmat class. although its harder than the actual test, my score was higher on the mgmat than the actual test, however, i took the real gmat in february, and am now taking practice tests from mgmat. i also found that mgmat tests are harder than th...

Should I soften a technical resume for application?
Hello, Some of the schools require me to send in a resume. I work in the IT industry and my resume is rather technical. Should I soften my resume in my application, or should I just use the same resume I would use if I were to apply for a job? I would appreciate any advice on this topic. thank you!

Yes, I'm also writing down flashcards, and it's quite intense. I read it this past January when i was taking a PR class, some of the topics stuck, but not nearly enough. This is my second stint reading it, and I'm hoping to commit a decent amount of this book to memory before I start the mgmat prep ...
