I have spoken to two admission representatives from two different colleges including Arizona State and University of South Dakota and they have given me positive feedback regarding my felony. They mentioned this could be a ...

What have you changed? How have you grown? Have you learned something from the experience? Do you take responsibility for it? I now am very conscious about the choices I make and I avoid unruly behavior 100% of the time. I have remained out of any criminal trouble since the incident. Since the char...

It depends. It certainly could. And it may not. I realize this is a dissatisfying answer. It depends what you have done since the arrest. What have you changed? How have you grown? Have you learned something from the experience? Do you take responsibility for it? In general the more time between the...

Sunman, I think you would be better off taking some business related classes than retaking the GMAT and aiming for 750 at this point. They can see from your GMAT that you have the intellectual horsepower. They will want to know if you have figured out how to apply yourself in an academic setting and...

Six hours of GMAT prep a day should be enough. Furthermore, you don't want to say you are unemployed because you left a good job to devote yourself full-time to GMAT study since most applicants work and prepare for the GMAT. The only way you might consider leaving your job is if you are very confide...

If you really have no work my first piece of advice is that you wait to apply until you get some work experience. Despite your high grades and GMAT, your chances of acceptance to these programs, with the possible exception of the MIM programs, are very slim. If you want to try for them, then emphasi...

I am an African student wishing to apply to the Wharton school and U. Chicago Booth. My GPA is 3.89 and my GMAT score 710 (Q49 V40). If I couldn't make it to these top schools, I would be interested in Cornell and Duke universities. Please provide me some advice on how how competitive my profile is...
