Dear MG, Thank you for your prompt response! Yes, Michigan State does have really good employment prospects in Supply Chain - both inside and outside US. The full ride does make things a lot easier. Michigan State strikes a good balance between academics and partying :) I doubt I will get off the Mc...

Dear MG, Thank you for your prompt response. Yes, I am interacting regularly with McCombs. For many obvious reasons, it is the only school that I would still be interested in attending; even without a scholarship or any kind of aid. It is definitely one of the best schools in the world for Energy a...

Hi MG, Thank you very much for your valuable inputs. Sorry for the delayed reply. Yes, I am willing to take a loan but not to the tune of 120k - 140k for a school that is not even a top 20 by any means. Hence, I did not put down my deposit for Carlson as they refused to offer me any scholarship. Man...

Dear MG, Thank you for your prompt response. To be honest, I don't think that I will be able to afford Carlson without scholarship. I know that Carlson is a great school and is part of a well-known University. I am 28 years old and don't want to take a huge loan either. I am also a bit disappointed ...

Dear MG, I also have admit from Carlson (Minnesota) - Rank 27 in US News, with zero scholarship. School has refused me any possible funding. What do you suggest. I know that Carlson is a good school, but is it worth taking a huge loan for a non top 20 MBA ? Will I be at a huge disadvantage if I don'...

Is it worth going to Carlson without a scholarship. It is going to be difficult for me. After all, it is not a top 10-20 school. Please suggest.

Thanks very much for your valuable guidance.

Thank you MG. I might have to still secure my spot at Cox because it will easily take up to a month to complete all formalities and get I-20 for Tippie. One cannot take any chances with these complex procedures.

Thanks again!!

Also got admit from Carlson - Univ of Minnesota. It's a really good school, with lots of fortune 500 manufacturing companies around. Now, I am confused.

Yes, I am planning to focus on Operations/Supply Chain. Tippie is leveraging its strength in manufacturing to attract companies looking to fill roles in those areas. The only thing with Tippie is that my first job after MBA could be in Iowa city, which is not a large metro area like Dallas. However,...

Hello Alex, Thank you for your prompt response. I like SMU more and Texas does suit me well overall but the employment stats for Tippie are outstanding - they have publicly made available the info that 100% of the international students in the recent full-time MBA class were able to get internships ...
