Good point! One of the things that a lot of people have stressed here on this forum is to determine what works well you. I would like to clarify that when I was getting those 750+ scores, I knew they weren't true reflection of my abilities. You are right that most of the questions were repeats after...

As far as verbal is concerned, what really worked for me in CR and RC were a) doing every question in timed condition b) looking at the wrong answer choices after I had practiced a set of questions. Believe me, the GMAT CR and RC sections have a finite number of ways in which wrong answer choices ar...

Hi Lisa, I took the GMAT couple of weeks ago and scored 770 (Q50, V47, AWA 5.5). I plan to work for a couple of years and also plan to take up leadership opportunities outside of work to improve my profile for the top schools (I just have 15 months of experience till now). I heard some people say th...

Thanks for all your wishes! A received a few PM about more details on how I did RC: Regarding RC, when I was writing my GRE a few years ago, I had a lot of issues with it (GRE RC is similar to GMAT RC). quickly vs quicker
In the Comparisons chapter of Manhattan GMAT the concept on "quickly" is as follows: Do not compare an adverb that ends in -ly by changing the ending to -er. Instead add "more". The example given is around quicker vs. more quickly. The question I had is that can this be generaliz...

Quadratic equation
How do we solve this:
Sq root[(x-3)^2] = (3-x)
just by looking we can figure out that the two roots will be x=0 and x=3
but how can we get both the roots by solving it. I was able to get x=3 but wasn't able to get x=0.
