GMAT Prep Error
Hi All,
I have windows 7 Home premium edition 64 bit.
When I try installing GMAT Prep(not the latest version), it says its not compatible.
I guess its compatible with Windows XP only.
Please let me know what workarounds are available to get it working?

AM doubt
The average (arithmetic mean) of a list of numbers is what percent of the sum of the numbers?
(1) There are 8 numbers in the list.
(2) The sum of the numbers in the list is 100.
I thought the ans was E which doesn't seem to be the correct OA?

Is 1 Prime Number??
Hi,
Till date I was under the impression that 1 is neither prime nor composite.
But the explanations given by OG11 for question 118 is considering 1 as prime. Please let me know whether to consider 1 as prime or not while solving DS.

My doubt is on this statement i.e x=4 if y>5--IIhemantsood wrote:B gives 7.5 so X is less than 5
A gives 7.55 ie
x=5 if y <5--I
x=4 if y>5--II
Combining both we will get I

why we take x=4 , it can be 3,2 etc also.
Like if number is 7.5269

Hi Cramya, I agree with your ans i.e C. But what if I approach the question as below:- n^5(1-n^4) < 0 (n^5 - n^9) < 0 n^5 < n^9 Now if n is positive, n^5 < n^9 is always true. Is n negative?
i)n5(1 - n4) < 0
ii) n4 - 1 < 0
(n5 refers to n to the power 5 and n4 above refers to n to the power 4)
