Hey guys, Been using this site for just under a month and sat for the GMAT this morning. I only studied for about 2 weeks concerted effort, and scored a 710. My program of choice only needs a high 500, so I am in good shape! It's nice to have it out of the way. Obviously my verbal was much stronger ...

Is this copied correctly? I don't think there should be a comma in the middle of the sentence. Semicolon, perhaps, dash, sure, or even nothing (depending on the second half). Def not a comma though

D is redundant. I would say A. Apprentice is modifying work, (which, if it helps, includes an implied "of art.") E.g. "It doesn't look like a novice work of art." "It doesn't read like an apprentice book/work/etc" E is tempting, but if you use the above examples as guid...

E
Above explanation is good, but also just read it. It is easily the least awkward and most clear organization.

I would say B, to eliminate all passive voice.
Though, the previous poster may be right about the idiomatic use of 'extent'. I'm not sure about that.

Silly question on factorials

I notice a lot of answer explanations on this forum involve factorials--especially on questions involving combinations or permutations. I understand the concept of the factorial (product of 1 to n inclusive), but back in school when i used to have to use them, there was a handy little button on the ...

well, on your diagram, yes, i can see that.
on my diagram however (in the OG book), the arrows are clearly directly over each number, not slightly offset like in yours.

not really clear, no. absolute value is always positive, regardless of whether the number is - or +.
so the absolute value for 2 and -2 is 2

Allright.. Are these people morons or am I missing something

The problem displays -2, -1, 0, 1, 2 on a number line. Of the five numbers on the number line above, which has the greatest absolute value? I think i'ts pretty clear that -2 and 2 have the same absolute value, yet the OA is -2 because "the absolute value of a number x is the distance between x ...

(1) and (2), in different ways, both state that the polygon is a regular hexagon. If this is the case, then the interior angles add up to 180(n-2), or 720. 720/6 = 120. each of these angles is bisected by a segment (the segments that form the 6 triangles), so each of those angles is 60 deg. Now, the...
