The last round is typically harder, so if there are only 3 rounds, the chances in round 3 are probably lower than round 2. But round 3 is there for a reason, so it's still possible.

I appreciate your consideration of my response. Most companies require an MBA for all managerial jobs starting at the lowest level. You said you are working in marketing at a media company - perhaps this environment put the idea of an MBA in your head. It often works this way. In considering an MBA ...

I worked with Aringo on my application to INSEAD and wanted to share my great experience with them which ended up in admission: Their experience helped me improve my application, as well as identify the most important points to best reflect who I am, and to emphasize them in a way that could gain th...

Nobody is 'cut out' for an MBA. I'm not an expert but as Money 9111 says you would not be the first to overcome a poor GPA and relatively low GMAT when applying to a good school. First of all, you need to know that you want an MBA. It is invaluable, if not necessary, in the job market and would be o...

Of course you're cut out for an MBA, and why wait so long? You want it and you have time to achieve it. The fact that you're thinking about it means you are ambitious and that's what an MBA is all about - people who want to further themselves and achieve goals in the arena of the business world. Con...

The Description of Duties for Kellog can easily be redundant with respect to your resume so I would try to think of ways in which your job description impacts on others you are working with and the goals of your office or operation in general. In other words, you can expand a little from your resume...

GMAT aside, you have good qualifications for the schools you want, even Stanford, if you set them out in a striking way on your application. Its difficult to assess your work experience from what you've given but make sure you tie it in to your stated MBA goal. I would try the GMAT one more time and...

I would agree with the moneyman above - get all the essay questions straight in your mind and write drafts for those. If you have an outline for several essays it will help you to put together a single-essay format where requested. The essays are a real process in that you will find yourself changin...

Mary hi, Its very hard to score above 700 on the GMAT so don't feel a 640 is the end of the world. You are not alone. You do have some important things going for you (gender and nationality) and you might be competitive at the best schools - it's hard to say without more details - but asking what sc...
