I am arriving at (5^2)/3 = (x^y)/z;
This leaves Z=3, x=5 and y=2; Since all the numbers are greater than 1, x=25 and y=1 option is eliminated..

So the answer is D? can someone explain , why the answer is not D?

(B) "television shows that are bringing"
(D) "television shows that is bringing" - incorrect
(E) "television shows that bring" - concise

(2).
a ramjet is to be compared with a scramjet, or supersonic combustion ramjet. Only B explains this comparison properly.

For (1), I am not convinced that (B) is the answer.

In (B), what does "which" refer to? "purposes"?

In option (C), "It" can refer only to NJ. and "It" is required since "over three-quarters" follow the initial clause.

In (A), the chemical that is irritating it is wordy

In ((B), "trying that it metabolize" is awkward.

So, (E) is the correct choice.

For (2)
I went with (E);
But after seeing the answer, thought - what does "them" refer to???

There is no antecedent. So, the closest answer is (C)
