You should be using the GMATprep software to gauge your ability. Don't take the actual test until you are getting within 50 points of your desired score during practice.

I believe you can only ask for a re-grade on the AWA. And the score could of course, go down.
If you are confident that they scored you wrong, I would simply take it again.

Refer to the website for accurate into on breaks, not the OG. I used each break to go to the bathroom, relax, convince myself I got those last few questions right, etc. I probably used 5 min of each one. I did not mess around with snacks. Most claim they only look at the highest single test date and not average. I have not heard of any school taking the highest of Q and V of multiple dates for your benefit. More difficult due to the Scoretop controversy?
If anything, it has gotten easier. An identical performance might even net you 10 more points now compared to when there are a hundred scoretoppers taking the test with you.
