Hi Guys,
I am struggling with this question, can you explain why have you multiplied 10 with 1000 for Jun 1-10? The mean of $1000 is for the 30 days so I cannot understand how we can use it for the first 10 days oe even the last 20 days.
Appreciate your help.

Total distance traveled in 5hrs at 50m/hr = 250miles.
The car starts with 12 gallon of gasoline and at the rate of 30g/miles, it can go 12x30=360 miles.
Therefore, the fraction would be 250/360=25/36. Hence "E" is the right answer.

Since 8% of 5000 is equal to 6.5% of some number "x", the number x must be more than 5000. Using answer choice D, 400/6000 *100=6.666% so the denom must be more than 6000. Only choice left is E.

Hi, Sorry should have written the solution but it was the same as anshumishra's at the top that's why I didnt write it. But here's how I solved it first using the group formula and than with Venn diagram. A' alone - 60 A&B both - x B' alone - 3x N - Neither A nor B - 80 A - Total Brand A, 60+x B...

Hi,
Why is the group formula (Group 1 + Group 2 - Both + Neither = Total )not suitable for this problem as pointed out by Mitch. It reduces the equation to the same equation as you would get if you use Venn diagram. 60+4x+80=200. Just trying to clarify the concept.

Hi, Does it matter how we setup the stages? I am a little confused when you say "For one color, choose a model ". Can it be solved in the manner below; Stage 1: Possibilities for color, 4C3= 4 Stage 2: Select a model for 3 cars where we have 2 choices for each car. 2x2x2=8 Result: 8x4 =32 ...

I am looking for some comments about the way I solved the problem. Let the co-ordinate of P be (x1,y1), R(x2,y2) and Q(x3,y3). Since P and R must have the same value for y, R(x2,y1) and since Q should have the same x value as P, Q is (x1,y3). So from P(x1,y1), R(x2,y2) & Q(x3,y3) we are reduced ...

The way I did it is below. Do comment if it's the right approach.
A:P:G=6:5:2, so 4 pounds more of apple in the total of 13 pounds. In 39 pounds of mixture, it would be (39/13)*4=12.
Ans: B.

I agree with the last comment, can you un-protect the sheet and share please? I am looking to extend the formulas in the sheet so that it's just one file with all the track record for the 60 day guide.
Thanks !

Need help to improve
Hi I started to follow the 60 Day plan from late August and recently finished the AWA lesson. While the course has been very helpful in guiding and channeling my focus to the concepts and tricks, I failed to see the improvement in my 2nd attempt of Test 1. Although, I did a lot better in Diagnostic ...

Hi,
I have been using the old GMAT Prep software and all the test results are in that version. Do I keep the old results after upgrading to the new SW?
Cheers
