Thanks Guys! I seemed to be getting a ton of repeats from OG 11 on two attempts with the GMAT prep software this week so I stopped the tests ( like 3 out of the first 8 questions). I didn't use the powerprep either. I did however use the both GMATpreps earlier in my studies and saw much improvement ...
I was having an off day when I took the Veritas exam which may explain a lot of my score difference. I knew I was having a bad day and should not have taken an exam. That being said the questions did not seem realistic to me, the format of the questions just seemed different. I did terribly on the v...
Do you happen know if there is any overlap between the Powerprep exams and the OG11 guide?
I am thinking of using them to tune up in my last week before the exam.
I recently started my 2nd gmat prep practice exam. It was my first after finishing all of the OG 11 quant questions. In the first 8 questions I saw 2 repeats from the OG guide. I was under the impression that GMATprep tests had no repeats from the OG guide. Was that wrong? I stopped the exam and pla...
I took GMAT prep #1 at the beginning of my studies and scored a 41 so I am confident in my verbal skills. But I was still really surprised when I saw that score on the Kaplan test. I have heard some say that their verbal isn't indicative of the real thing though. So I am not putting too much wait be...
I just took a practice exam from Kaplan and scored a 55 on the verbal section!
Obviously I am pleased but I'm just assuming that it is not a good indicator of the real thing. Is a V 55 even possible on the real GMAT?
Well relative improvement! - I am terrible at math but I am getting better! I have been studying my butt off. I know Kaplan scores aren't indicative of the real GMAT but I figure when compared with themselves they can show improvement over time. 6/7 Q 31 39% 6/17 Q 33 39% 6/26 Q 34 41% 7/3 Q 37 52% ...
I have done practice tests to try and find out where my natural skills are, however, I have been rather confused by the results. I have done 3 practice exams (2 Kaplan, 1 MGMAT): Kaplan 1: 610 (Q33 39%, V44 97%) Kaplan 2: 630 (Q34 41%, V49 99%) ManhattanGMAT: 670 (Q44 73%, V37 83%) Clearly my streng...

Hi all- On how many practice tests do you guys do the whole gmat including the AWA? Only the last couple? All of them?
Your thoughts please.
Thanks! Just out of curiosity did you find that your score on a paper exam correlated with CAT exams? Also am I correct in assuming it takes a few days to find out your score?
I have taken several CAT practice tests but this will be my first go at a paper one.
Has anyone here taken the Kaplan diagnostic exam they give at the beginning of their courses?
- Does it have the AWA section?
- Is it computer or paper based?
