Hi- are there any courses that I'd be able to complete online before the end of October?

Some schools (e.g. Sloan) specifically ask for undergrad calc grade on their app, and I would really like to beef that up prior to submitting for round 1.

Thanks

MGMAT was the best book I used. I started with a 600, but I'm a native English speaker.

Submitting GMAT scores

I am an idiot and forgot to send my scores to a school whose round two apps are due this week. Do most schools need this in hand before the app is considered submitted? If so, is there an expedited score reporting service? Thanks in advance Edit: I plan to check with Pearson first thing tomorrow. I ...

Possibly off-topic: getting over writer's block

What are you all doing to cope with writer's block? I've been stuck on my first essay for weeks. I guess I just have to shut myself in one weekend and not leave the apartment until all of my first drafts are done.

730 (Q44, V48) -- what I learned

I can't believe I had a higher verbal scaled score than quant, but there you have it. It's funny, but while 730 is a score with which I am very happy, I feel like I could have done a ton better. I really didn't feel in the zone until midway through the quant section. What I learned: 1) MGMAT guide b...

Lisa, As an update, I've since received a 730 on my GMAT and a passing grade on my Lvl 2 CFA. My other concerns still remain, but do you think, given the information you have, that I have a solid chance at Stanford (i.e. does the average 3.7, 730, 3 years of exp candidate have a good shot)? Also, wi...

MGMAT -- question bank running out?

Hi,

I thought I had done extremely well on a verbal section--score was a solid 44 (97%)--but there was a string of about 15 x 600-700 questions in a row that I got right.

I imagine this is due to the q-bank running out. Do you think this could have skewed my verbal score negatively?

Thanks

Should I submit my GMAT scores on test day?

Hi, I'm not 100% confident that I will receive my ideal score on my first try. Would it at all benefit me to opt out of having my scores sent on exam day, until after I find out how well I did? As far as I can tell, the only downside is the additional cost of sending the score later. Not sure what t...

Reading Comprehension > Tone

Hi, I've done some practicing and am now pretty comfortable in the verbal space. My last verbal score was 97th percentile with a fairly even split across the three question types. One thing that I have noticed however, is that I simply cannot get the "tone" questions right. 0 for 3 in four...

Median GMAT scores & admission

Hi, I'm seeking clarity on the median GMAT stat. All of the top schools seem to have a median of 710-720, but that's only the 93rd-95th percentile (if the charts online are accurate). That doesn't seem very selective to me, considering there are far fewer "top" MBA programs than "top&...
