Hi Lisa,

For the Optional Essay for CBS, they ask why I do not have a rec. from my main supervisor.

Is it sufficient to say that my current supervisor is not aware that I am currently pursuing a full time MBA?

Should I mention that the first time I scored a 480 and would not let the low score get me down and developed a new game plan and was determined to do better on this test? Make sure you use GMAT Prep (more than once be re-installing), print the questions out and spend a lot of time on what you got wrong.

Also do drills from the OG and time yourself since time was a problem your first time around.

From the stem: x=y-z if x is positive; x= z-y or x+y=z if negative

Stmt 1: x+y = z

But it is unknown whether x is positive or negative - INSUFF

Stmt 2:

x is negative -INSUFF

Stmts 1& 2, x+y=z, and x is neg - SUFF

Answer should be C.
