I may have missed something, but where does it say that p and q are integers. What if q is 1/5 and t is 1/25, assuming p^2 as 5^2, So in this case the answer would be that we do not know if q is greater than or less than t. In that case statement 1 is not sufficient. How does it matter whether p an...

thx
If you want the volume the formula is 1/3. Pi. r^2. h

SA = pi. r^2 + pi.r.l

r = radius, h = height , l = length

May I know the source of the question.

if you are at 90th percentile on some parameter means 90% of the group is below you on that parameter.
So in a class of 80 if you are at 90th percentile - 90% i.e. 72 students are below you.

how many points of intersection does Y = (X-1) (X +1) (X-3) have with x axis? Equation of x axis is y=0 so to find the points of intersection, we have to solve y= (X-1) (X +1) (X-3) =0 => (X-1) (X +1) (X-3) =0 x=1, x= -1 and x=3 are the solutions so there are 3 such points where the curve intersect...

(A) 70
(B) 49
(C) 35
(D) 7
(E) 1
it takes 7 monkey minutes to eat 1 bananas

to eat 70 bananas it takes 490 monkey minutes

if it has to finish in 70 minutes we need 490/70 = 7 monkeys

referring to examples in the page - http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Remainder

"When dividing 26 by 4, 6 is the quotient and 2 is the remainder, because 26=6×4+2."

26/4 = 13/2 ; so by your logic remainder should have been 1 but, instead it is 2.
