I am going through something similar to your situation. you can read my post here http://www.beatthegmat.com/help-failed-verbal-again-despite-decent-practice-cat-scores-t116995.html When it comes down to it, I don't think MGMAT CAT verbals are a good indicator of verbal ability. There scoring algori...

Should I take the MGMAT class? scored 670-710 on MGMAT CATS

I've been considering taking the 9 course in-person class that starts in mid September. In the past year, I've gone through the 7 Strategy MGMAT books twice (all but RC). The first time I went through, I did both normal and advanced sections. The second time through, I only reviewed the normal secti...

- Your score will improve very quickly if you can move your quant score upwards, more so than in Verbal. Yes, I know my quant is still lacking, and I have a plan to improve that. But for Verbal, I am seriously at a loss. Not sure what is the best method to proceed. Anyways, a V33 is just unacceptab...

Help! Failed Verbal again, despite decent practice CAT scores Timing hasn't really been an issue. Sometimes I need to sleep through the last 2 questions, but my pacing is fine. I just feel like MGMAT CATS gave me a false sense of security on Verbal. I've read numerous posts that MGMAT verbal is easi...

Help! Failed Verbal again, despite decent practice CAT scores

I took the GMAT yesterday again. and got a lousy Q42 and V33. I feel misled by my MGMAT CAT verbal scores. Clearly, my GMATPrep and real GMAT Verbal scores show that I am lacking in something. There seems to be a clear disparity between GMAT verbal and Manhattan GMAT Verbal. I felt really, really go...

So I just took gmatprep cat 1's verbal. There were probably 3-4 questions that I remembered from the past. I was pretty much dazed (because of the CAT I just took a few hours earlier) so I just quickly ran through the questions in 73 minutes, not bothering to write ABCDE charts or taking any notes. ...

Taking the test on Monday 8/6 -Verbal disparity between CATS

I really don't know what to make of this. my MGMAT verbal cat scores have been in the 38-41 range for the last 4 CATS I took in the past 30 days. The first time I took the official test (3 months ago) I ended up getting a V31 I just took my GMATprep2 test and got a V36 on verbal. I only got the foll...

Calculator for IR Section

Does anyone know if the keyboard works for the calculator on the actual test? Or do we have to use the mouse to enter in numbers?

Thanks

Can I use the numpad on my keyboard for the calculator on Integrated Reasoning Section or do I need to use a mouse?

IR, can I use the numpad on the keyboard for calculator?

hi,

I was wondering whether the on-screen calculator on the ACTUAL GMAT allows you to use the number pad on the keyboard?

-It doesn't work for the MGMAT IR sections
-it DOES work for the GMATprep software.

Thanks

inflated Verbal score?

Hi, I took my 6th MGMAT cat yesterday, and I noticed that the last. On question 33 of the Verbal, I was at a 91 percentile. I subsequently got 9 SCs questions after, but all of which had a difficulty in the 600-700 range. Is this because I have used up all the prior 700-800 SC questions in my previo...

Thanks for your reply. Okay, I guess my plan now is to take another cat tomorrow (maybe mgmat cat 6, or gmatprep cat 2. Then review as many problems as I can in my problem areas from all the MGMAT Cats. I also play on buying 3 Gmatfocus exams to do during the week. Then cap off my week with doing 1 ...
