So you don't have a choice but to choos the same in this part.

Well in this case it is a simple case of comparing an orange to an orange.

We need to ciompare the legal considerations that affected the universities to the legal considerations that affected the businesses.

Hence look for options that have this scheme.

Only C does this.

The answer is B . The first part of the sentence talks about 'people who brought the reformation' The middle clause is a subordinate adjective cluse descibing reformation. So the correct sentence shall be talking of people who brought the refomation. The sentence B is more idiomatic than sentence A.

Well the answer is A.

stmt 1 : this gives the value of x^2 + y^2 in terms of xy. Hence it will cancel the common term xy in nume and denom and leave with an answer.

stmt 2: just the value of xy will not be able to eliminate both the variables and ence is not ok.

The answer is B. We need this value => { y/x + (40-y)/1,25x } / { 40/x }. stmt 1: this gives x=48. If we put this value in the above expression, we get {(y + 160)/240 } / 40/x. This will not give the answer. stmt 2 : this gives y = 20. If we put this value we get { 36/x } / 40/x. Which sure does giv...

Well I think the answer is C.

Stmt 1 : t1+t1+...+tn = 3124.

From this we can't get the value of n.

Stmt 2 : (t1+t1+...+tn)/n = 4.

From this also we can't get the value of n.

But if we combine the two we get n = 3124/ 4.

Hi...

I think the answer is B. Here is my soln::

m+x / r + y = x / y

m+x / r + y - x / y = 0

(my+xy-xr-xy)/y(r+y) = 0

Since all are +ve I can safely discard the denominator.

Hence my = xr.

This is the answer.

Please correct me if I am wrong here.

Ok the answer sure is C. The explanation goes as below:: First understand the logic of the relation a-> b. The two valid inferences from this are :: If a then b If not b then not a. Apart from these two no other inference is valid. Based on this let us write the given stmts:: A -> B; B -> C; C -> D....

Well since it is a DS question lets just evaluate if a definite answer is in store or not. stmt 1: gives the ration of men to children. This alone will just help me to arrive at a ratio of men : women: children. But I can't calculate a definite number. stmt 2: this alone just gives a number for wome...

The answer is B. The logic is that we have 2 rows and hence we need to accomodate 6 students per row. So permutaions of 6 students for first row = 12P6= 12! / 6! Now the permutaions for back row = 6!. Now we have two sets of paers :: A and B. Hence we will have two distinct arrangements depending on...
