As for you essays- I hope they turn out well. Generally, the GMAT helps keep people out, but the essays get you into a school.

Cheers
Thanks Daniel. And that was very well said.

Thank you guys. Just submitted two applications. I have been able to sleep only a few hours in the last few days but I'm glad that I managed two schools.. 2 more to go but there's time left for those. Going to sleep like a bear now.

Congrats on your score. You can always think about applying next year and getting some of your other schools on the list... Thanks Jim. While preparing for the GMAT, I had actually done most of the groundwork for the applications too simultaneously. I'm done with the recos for most schools and the ...

Today I took the GMAT at their NYC test center and got a 740. Stern,IMD,Darden and Stanford are the only schools I can apply to because I've missed the deadlines of a couple of other schools on my target.Although I am on a tight schedule as the deadlines of these schools is quite close but now after...

How do you guys manage concentration during the test? I somehow get tired after finishing the first two sections. In fact, by the time I finish the Quant section,I just feel like getting up and closing the exam. How do I manage this?

I got 4 RCs. 2 passages had 3 questions each and the rest two had 4 questions each.
What was the difficulty level of the passages on the GMAT vis-a-vis those that you practiced in the OG ?

Isn't it a very common thing. I guess any one of us can do well on the GMAT if we were given say 4 hours per section. The challenge is to finish it within the stipulated time I agree with that. But my question isn't that. I'm asking for ways in which I can finish a section with having to rush towar...

How difficult is it to get a 6 on AWA ? How many essays should I be practicing and how do I get these essays evaluated ? I haven't taken the GMAT yet but I think getting a 6 on the GMAT shouldn't be very difficult. Anyway, I focusing on AWA much won't be of much help. Will probably practice a few e...

Isn't 4 days for Verbal and only 2 days for Maths lopsided? I'm good at Math too but not sure whether I'll be able to achieve 50+ by studying Math for only 2 days a week.
