I had a similar story... but with 660... I really didn't have much faith, and when aringo said I would make it, I decided to go with them... 4 school applications, 3 interviews (Duke, Ross, Mccombs), 2 acceptances (and one wait list) not bad :) conclusion - GMAT is just part of the story... see you ...

I'm wondering should I invest efforts during my BA in finding a job that will offer me managerial experience? would it increase admission chances or do b-schools only consider full time jobs?

I think most schools have specific questions for recommenders, even if you can't see the questions on the website they are available on the online recommendation system which your recommenders can see.
