You mentioned that you maintained an error log. I was wondering what all do i need to maintain in an error log ? and how often should it be reviewed ? think of an error log as your own personal notes..i revise my error log every fortnight and it really helps.. Isn't it a very common thing. I guess any one of us can do well on the GMAT if we were given say 4 hours per section. The challenge is to finish it within the stipulated time I agree with that. Parallelism should the first thing you should look for in a question. Look at the data from the OG SC questions in this interesting document and you will see that parallelism errors are tested the most option

I think you'll get a lot of stories here of people who have taken the GMAT with just 2 weeks of preparation and have done well. It also depends on what score you are targeting at. Take a GMATPREP and you will probably get a good idea of where you stand now.

I think if your accuracy is down, you need to understand things better. Your comprehension level is not upto the mark right now-that's why you are getting the questions wrong.

CFA level 1 and 2 don't probably help much in getting through a business school but they certainly help when you are looking for jobs/internships during MBA. Good insights by Daniel Heart.
