My first practice test with minimal study was with GMATPrep and I scored a 690. My next two tests after 3 weeks of intensive study were with Veritas and I scored 560 and 570. Can anybody explain the reason behind these differences? Is there one test that is considered more accurate than another?

I have only had 1 employer since I left undergrad. I do not want this employer to know that I am applying to B-schools, as I will most likely be leaving the company for a full time program and a career change. I plan to apply to both programs. All of my credentials will be in line with what they are looking for except for my poor undergraduate GPA.
I would most likely have to move to attend U of I, but it would be a bargain tuition-wise.

Chicagoland MBA Programs
We all know that Booth and Kellogg are wonderful schools but they are most likely out of reach for many of us. Does anybody have an opinion about what the #3 full time program in Illinois is? I would probably move for the right program but prefer not to pull my fiance away from her current job!
