Thanks guys, I'm guessing I'm weaker than I should be on Quant in general so I should work on that first.

OG Questions too hard?
As im finishing all the OG questions, I find i'm doing worst as I do more questions. In the beginning I would be able to get 8/10 Data Sufficiency questions. Now I'm getting maybe 3 out of 10 correct (from questions 100-110). Just wondering what I would be a good way to study other than reviewing th...

Doing well on OG but horrible on mock?
Just wondering what i could do to fix this. I recently did the GMAT Prep exam and got a terrible score of 570 with a verbal score of 31. I just did over 20 questions from each section of the verbal OG and got between 0-3 wrong in each section. My question is if this means I should keep trying to imp...

Knewton GMAT anyone?
not sure if this is the right place to post this but has anyone used the Knewton GMAT for preparation?
On their site they guarantee an increase of 50 points on GMAT score. The course is all online.
Is it worth the $400?
Thanks

GMAT Prep exam changes?
After I took my first GMAT Prep Exam I clicked on reset after reviewing my answers. I took the first GMAT Prep Exam again hoping it would be the same questions but the Quant and Verbal were completely different. Does this mean you can reset as many times as you want and you will get different exams ...

Hi yousufa, Finding the prime factors of a number is a pretty straight-forward idea: Find ANY number that goes into the larger number and then divide it out, break it down into primes, then continue repeating that process until you have a list of primes. In the case of 990, you might spot that 2, 3...

Thanks a lot for the help Brent.
Just wondering, how do you know which prime factors' product results in the desired number? Basically, how did you know 2,3,3,5,11 were the factors for 990? It would probably take a while to arrive at that combination from just trial and error.
Thanks

Best DS practice?
Hey guys,
Im having a lot of problems with DS (and quant in general). What is the best way to practice DS questions? I have practiced on my Manhattan GMAT books but those questions seem a lot simpler than the ones in the official GMAT book (in which I'm only getting maybe 40% right).
Thanks

Congrats.
For Manhattan GMAT preps, did you do the "Extra" chapters at the end of each book or just the non extra ones?

Thanks spark.
Yes, I agree I should start practice exams but I didn't want to waste them until I had my bases covered.
I think I will do the non-extra chapters then do some OG questions then go back and do the extra chapters.

"Extra Strategies" in Manhattan books
How important would you guys say these chapters are? Im having a lot of troubles with these questions. Are these more like the GMAT questions compared to the rest of the book? I haven't touched the OG or prep tests yet and don't know if I should spend as much time as I am on these "extra" ...
