Play it to your advantage - what skills or experiences will you be able to leverage in your new career? You may also want to consider not focusing in entrepreneurship so that you can build competencies that are more related to your future interests.


It's not true that changing jobs is looked negatively upon - but you need to make sure you help admissions officers understand why you have made the decisions that you have.

It won't negatively impact your application but it is something that you'll want to disclose and/or explain further.


It depends on your schedule. If you can work concurrently on your applications with studying for the GMAT, I'd say it's possible to get applications in for Round 2 in January. If not, I'd recommend holding off until next year.

It's not unusual to see the lowest marks in freshman year - it's typically a year of transition for many students. Hopefully, your grades were on an upper trajectory from there. Your GMAT score will compensate for your lower GPA. You'll want to be careful with the optional essay. Don't make excuses....

Your background is unique but that GMAT score is quite low. If you can retake and pull up your score, these schools will be more aligned and other schools will potentially become an option.

Our advice is to apply in the round in which you can submit your strongest application. With that said, the earlier, the better is generally the rule of thumb.
