Thanks, yes this helps. What I wanted to understand though was the nature of your work in the Tech company - which seems like a Product (and not services) firm? Are you in a Product Manager role/team? Or Strategy? Or something else? This will determine your post-MBA goals story to a large extent as...

It will be good to understand the nature of your work both at the consulting firm as well as the current tech firm to really get a better sense on the profile's strength. What brands have you worked for? Any achievements there that differentiate you? For the super aggressive school list you have th...

The real thing seemed easier than MGMAT IR questions. You can get a good sense of the actual difficulty through MBA.Com's practice test and OG Practice problems (online).

Hey guys, thanks for the feedback...definitely makes me feel a little better. By the way, can you share with us what books did you find more helpful for both Q and V? I used MGMAT set and OG (full, quant, and verbal) to study. I find the MGMAT helpful for tricks and shortcuts to help with quant calc...

720 (Q50 V38 IR5)

Hey guys, So I took my GMATs a while back (Sept '12) but decided to finally post here since my IR score has been bugging me. I'm pretty satisfied with my overall score of 720 (Q50 V38) but my IR score is pretty low at a 5/8 which puts me at the 53rd percentile. AWA was 5.5. I know everyone's been sa...

Hi All, I am also curious about this question as I came to the same conclusion as Kevinst. The answer I selected was Precambrian eon as it marks the end of the Paleozoic era which I equate with the start of another (unnamed?) era. It also marks the beginning of the of the Vendian period. Any thought...

I've pasted the question + answer explanation along with my method below. It'd be great if someone could help me understand this better. Thanks in advance! Question: A garde...
