HBS interview
I didn't receive an invite either. Maybe it's because of my sub700 GMAT score. I'm trying to be hopeful though.

Thanks for the response. The reason I asked is because I was on another forum (BusinessWeek) and everyone there who'd been invited (to HBS) scored more than 700. So I was getting a bit worried.
Thanks

H/S/W R1 interviews
Has anyone with a gmat score of less than 700 been invited? I was looking at the business week forums and I haven't read of anyone who scored in the 600 to 690 range being invited. Please help!

Anyhoo, has anyone with a GMAT score of less than 700 been invited to interview at these schools?

OMG this sound eerily familiar
This happened to me as well for some of my R1 deadlines. It was my former manager, I think she was too busy and didn't mean to let me down. Bottom line is be ready for something like this. And if someone doesn't come through for one recommendation, scratch off the list of recommenders entirely! Good...

Question on application rounds
Quick question,
Do you think that chances of admission are higher in R1 or R2, especially considering that there are a lot of applicants this year?
Thanks

Help with essays
Quick questions, is it acceptable to use contractions in b-school essays e.g I'd instead of I would. This makes a really big difference on the number of words in the essay. Any thoughts/suggestions are greatly appreciated

Response
I took my test yesterday. I had the same feeling about the test as I did previous ones, it just seems that the verbal scoring is now a little off. The verbal was slightly harder, but I knew I was doing well. I've practiced with all the verbal questions the GMAC has ever released to the public and i ...

I agree with every poster above
The scoring of verbal now, is different from what it was two months ago. Does anyone know of any channel to communicate with GMAC and ask them to investigate. Something is definitely fishy here, and we should get our hands on it, and put the matter to rest.

Here it is
So I took the exam today for the 3rd time and I have a couple of questions: (1) Is it possible to ask for a remark? Especially for the verbal because I can swear that was my best verbal performance only to come out with a 36, unbelievable. I have been averaging around 42 in all different tests, and ...

I read this in the OG on one of the questions and noted it down:
"Due to" is awkward, instead use "because of"
