consider taking any one of the many courses available such as Kaplan , Veritas, Manhattan etc. studying from 7 books is probably not the key. The key is to actually understand the material. Do you know all the rules for SC. Do you know the tricks for CR. Do you actually understand the passage before...

(a+b) (a-b) =0
either (a+b)=0
or (a-b) =0
from statement 1
ab=0
either a=0 , or b=0
insufficient
from statment 2
b =-b
b+b=0
2b =0
b =0
Now if b=0, then a has to be 0
sufficient

The answer should be C.
As Likely as is correct.
In case of more likely than, it is not clear that 4 times of what!
Consider this,
John is twice as old as Bob.
It couldn't have been 'twice more old than'.
