Hi Community Been some time since I posted last. I never realized how sending out applications can take a huge chunk of one's time. Phew!! I am attempting the GMAT again in a month (4th March) to push up my score from a 690 to a 720. My last attempt was on the 26th Nov'12. I am concerned since I've ...

Hi There Its good to know that you aren't giving up on the GMAT yet because you really have no reason to.From both your scores I would say you have your quant concepts sorted which means all you have to do is now practice 700 level questions under timed conditions (roughly 2 mins per question)...If ...

Take ample time in examining your test (right and wrong answers both). Some people draft an error log to keep track of their progress from practice test to practice test...I never personally did this but I did make a record of the topics I had to practice more of which helped...give a gap between pr...

Hi You are not alone when it comes to struggling with RC passages.I'd advise the following strategy instead of resorting to 'guessing' which could significantly take down your score. First,2 weeks are enough to build RC 'Stamina'.So make it a point to do 3-4 passages everyday (be it from the OG or o...

Hi Assuming you've taken a GMAT prep test to know where you stand...you might want to go through the OG questions AND answer explanations, which is very much possible before your 10th January date... Then if you have the time take another prep test (only to build stamina). You will definitely reach yo...

Hi There The OG (most often referred to as the Bible for the GMAT) offers a taste of what the GMAT is all about.Going through the OG a few times is a key but NOT the only aspect you would need to cover to prepare yourself. Instead an effective way to use the OG would be to concentrate on the Answer ...

GMAT Retake -Common mistakes to avoid

Hi

My date for a GMAT retake is getting closer and due to pressures of work Im not able to devote as much time as I previously did during my first attempt.

Id like to know what are the common mistakes to avoid in a retake so that I dont end up getting a lower score than my previous one??

Thanks
