If possible, mention 1-2 other schools which will be a bit easier to get into, than the current school (but not much easier).
Keep in mind that schools can look at the GMAT score report to see which other schools an applicant sent their scores to.

As far as i know (you should verify that, though) you get your unofficial score right after the test, and it's good enough for the application. Later, the official score is sent to the school and it can happen after the deadline.

Seems like it wouldn't hurt asking, but actually what choice do you have? list only the awards you can within that limit, and find another place for the rest (CV, optional essay).

Hi Brian, I have a question regarding low GMAT score - my first test was bad and I'm sure I can improve. I know that when submitting the score report to the school they see all my past scores, so my question is if I should cancel the low GMAT score so it would not hurt me if I score much higher lat...
