Why not look at an Executive MBA, they are generally more targetted to older students. I'm in my early 30's and doing the Cornell-Queen's program. We have several people in their early 40's in our class.

I would say it depends on the school. Some schools take your highest score, others take an average. Others will look at your test taking history and use it to make judgments about the kind of person you are.

I would ask the schools you're looking to apply to and see what their policy is.

I'm going through this process right now at my employer. My suggestions are to talk to people within your organization who have been sponsored in the past and check with HR to see if there is a formal process you need to go through.
