Which round is better to apply for MBA in general? How will it influence the admission into top MBA programs? is round 1 always preferred?

I'm not sure the admission office will give you names of admitted students. I think the best way is to try finding admitted students through forums like this...

I have a question regarding volunteer work - I did not have time to volunteer in the past, do you recommend that I start doing volunteer work in order to improve my admission chances? how important it is?

Good GMAT may help you compensate for low GPA. You can see the average GMAT scores of students in the school profiles on schools' websites, to get some perspective on what score do you need.

I think I heard that INSEAD or LBS (or maybe both) has that option, but only if you have an impressive career. You should also consider HBS's 2+2 program.

You can probably find the answer to this in the GMAT official website. I think you can leave it blank and send the score later, but it will cost you more...

one more question if I may - Is it possible to prepare and submit an application in 2-3 weeks? Can doing so hurt my candidacy the following year if I’m not accepted this year?
