Your welcome! Thought it was interesting, not sure how some schools just "implode" in 1 year. Oh well, I guess it helps sell magazinesbeatthegmat wrote:Thanks for sharing this!

I agree with Lisa. Identify your specific concentration and go from there. Overall rankings of a school maybe higher or lower than their rankings in a particular area. For instance, University of Minnesota (Carlson) is ranked 25 overall in U.S. News and World Reports, however its marketing program (...

Got Accepted to Carlson (University of Minnesota)
I am so happy! Got word today via email, should get my packet by Monday. I live in Texas, but have a brother that lives in Minneapolis, so this is great. I applied to Minnesota and Washington University in St.Louis. Have not heard from WUSL yet, so we will see. Both are fairly equal, but I think the...

Dear specialk1975 & hsumh316: Application fee waivers are generally issued to a target group of applicants by a school. The school might be targeting high GMAT scores, women, under-represented minorities, and/or folks with specific undergraduate degrees. You should view application fee waivers ...

Waived Application Fee
Should I take this as a good sign? It was from Washington University in St.Louis. WUSL wasn't one of the 5 schools that I sent my GMAT score to, but they contacted me because of that waiver at the end of the test. Is the waiver a big deal, or do some schools do that for everyone?

I had a phone interview with Carlson (University of Minnesota) today. My advice is simple. Know your resume, know some details of the school's program, and know what you want to do for a career...be specific. I knew my stuff pretty well and I think the interview went well. Just be confident and self...

Thank you Amy. One final question if you don't mind. How far should work experience go back? I went back to school when I was 30, and now 2 years later I am about to graduate, so I have no post bachelors work experience. The only reason I ask is that I am worried that my pizza delivery job when I wa...

Resume Question
I have just a couple of resume related questions.. 1) Should I include references, or I should I just say references upon request? 2) Is it appropriate to include a link to a website in a resume? I helped do research for a start-up company who is still in process of funding and the only proof is the...

630. Math killed me. 35Q (44%) , 41V (93%), overall 77% percentile. I think that was the worst I have done on any Math sections to date. I believe that was in part attributable to my lack of sleep I got the night before. Couldn't turn the old brain off. So my advice is definitely get a lot of rest p...

Taking the Test Today at 8am , will post score
Nervous as hell. Even though I studied for 3 months, I still feel uneasy. I guess a test as important as this will do that to you. Anyways, I will report back with score and experience.

I had a 3.00 from my Freshman and Sophomore year at Junior College where I got my Associates degree. I then transferred to University of Texas at Dallas where I have a 3.97 with 4 classes to go. The meaning of "does"
Whenever the prompt asks "Does the value of X exceed 14? -Do you approach these type of questions the same way as "IS" questions? If the value for X (given stem 1) is x = 5 , is this a positive result and hence 1 by itself is correct? Or does X actually have to exceed 14. -I just made...
