P111,

That day - Nov 29 - was jinxed... I was trying to improve my score from the previous 660 and ended up at 610. I too was doing around 720 in mock test and finished real test on time and confident of at least 700. Alas!

what's the source of this question?

should be "number of" - a,b & e ruled out.

"its" clearly does not make sense. I presume it's "it". even then "it" can refer to committee or the agent.

D can refer the committee or the changes.

OOPS! I was always under the impression that the verb with "each or every" coming after a plural/compound subject takes plural form. each and every invoices and purchase orders has to be approved - Correct invoices and purchase orders, each have to be approved. - Till now I'd noted it down...

What's the answer to this? IMO E in A & B, what does "that" stands for in "the exquisite bouquet of a fine wine with that of ordinary grape juice. ". It has to be "the exquisite bouquet" so it becomes "the exquisite bouquet of a fine wine with [the exquisite bo...

+1 for B

2 parallel reasons starting with "because"
the unit "become absorbed, incorporated, and reformulated by many scholars" needs to be seperated using an "and"

in E, if "the ideas" are the subject, we then have a subject-verb agreement error.

thanks

In a,b&c, in addition to parallelism issue, "could probably" creates redundancy.
In D, "Not X, but in Y " has parallelism issue.

I'll vote for E.

Choice D displays an idiomatic error; a system to try is not a valid expression. The correct answer is E; the modification error is fixed, and there are no verb tense or idiomatic errors. I do not really understand why "to try" has been thrown out. To me, "to try" makes more sen...

Guys, do you know any OG#Q# with "so ..as to" as the right choice? I think I've read that "so as to" construction is almost always wrong in gmatland.

Thanks.
