I have also heard that top schools want to see 80+ percentiles for both Quant and Verbal. Is there any evidence or support of this? This is a bit of a myth. If schools had a hard and fast rule that you needed an 80/80 split, they wouldn't admit anyone with a GMAT lower than 710...which they obvious...

I have to apply in a little over 31 days as well since 2nd round deadlines are coming up. Should i be focussing on essays instead?
