Manhattan NUmber properties
I found the first chapter or 2 useful, but the rest wasnt. I would only recommend it if you can get it used for really cheap.

In the Ballpark GMAT Score
I've read that a 680 GMAT score is considered "in the ballpark" for top schools. Im assuming that the average GMAT score for these schools is 700-710. What about schools like USC and Cornell with average GMAT scores of 680? Would "in the ballpark" for these schools be more like 6...

Thanks for the responses. I agree, and think that it is a stress/confidence issue. I remember feeling more relieved coming out of the test knowing that I was finished with it than upset about my poor performance. It wasnt until later when I realized that I had stunk it up. Hopefully the stress is be...

640 Yesterday, bummer....
Well, I took that actual test yesterday and scored 640 (43Q,34V). My goal was to get at least 680. So I think Im going to cram for another month and retake it. Ive studied for about 3 months and feel like my knowledge of the subject matter has increased dramatically. However, my scores are down from...

Your score is supposedly good for 5 years, but Ive heard that the best B-schools only consider scores within 3 years. Might want to confirm that though.

I cant make any sense of this.....anyone?
Ive been studying for about 3 months now and I cant explain what is happening with my scores. After about 1.5 months of studying my scores shot up like 100 points. My very first practice test was a 560, and after my 1.5 months of studying they shot up to 690, 660, 640 and 720. So I hit the books aga...

Can someone explain this?
I took 2 practice tests last weekend, one on Saturday and one on Sunday. On Saturday I took the 2004 PR CAT4 and scored 640 (40Q, 39V). On Sunday I took the GMAT Prep2 and scored 720 (47Q, 42V). My knowledge of the subject matter did not change between tests, yet my scores were so much different. Sp...
