I am not planning to apply this year so I do have time at hand which I can use to improve the score. To answer how much I can improve, I can improve 20-30 points for sure. Not sure how much more than that I can stretch. 20-30 points improvement is good but improvement of profile can be just as good...

Let me just put in my opinion here to get this conversation going. What are your target schools? That is the first thing to check to know whether you fit into some schools. Second of all, Fall 2012? which round are you applying? Do you have time for a retake? Next, how much do you think you can imp...

Should I retake : 680

Hi all, I gave my GMAT on 2nd September and got a 680 (Q 46, V37). Now my question is should I retake? My profile is: Indian (which puts me in the higher GMAT peer group), Female (which puts me in advantage :-D ) with 4.5 years of experience in banking and decent academic and extra curricular activi...

Did anything unusual happen during your exam? Also, has GMAC given any reason for the same?

Good score with a decent profile. I guess you do stand a chance in good schools, however a score of 45+ in quants would have been great. Also, you mentioned about difficulty level of Qunats in real GMAT - is it more closer to problems in MGMAT? I have my examin 3 weeks from now and my scored have be...

Hi Black Knight,

Great score. All the best for your apps. I am planning to give my GMAT in a month from now and am really getting saturated on my verbal skills. Can you help me with some strategies for SC and CR.

Cheers,

MGMAT - how reflective of GMAT

Hi All,

I just gave my fist MGMAT test and scored 680 (Q49, V 34). Quants was really tough and had to leave last question due to time constraints. Found CR to be comparatively difficult.

What do you think about the co-relation of MGMAT scores with real GMAT?

Thanks in advance!

Hi, I think 740 is a great score. The schools are not that finicky about the score as we consider it. 740 with good credentials and spot on essays makes a perfect profile. Dnt worry about the IT/Indian/Male category. I know that's pretty common and can give u tough competition but as long as you hav...

Answer is 480 Solution: All 6 can occupy 6 places in 6! ways. Now lets assume, Ann and Bea always sit together and consider them as one unit. So 5 people can occupy 5 places in 5! ways. Also Ann and Bea (whom we have considered one unit) can occupy the two places next to each other in 2 ways. Hence ...
