If you had given your best in the gmat prep test, then it is highly improbable to score 700+ considering your present score. While it is good not to get demotivated or lose confidence you should decide whats best as well. If you hav enough time for the deadlines, it would be wise to reschedule the t...

630 in August was primarily because when the verbal section started I was not at all relaxed, the very idea of appearing GMAT exam started making me nervous. I guess the biggest difference between my 3rd & final attempt was the mental condition. During my final attempt, I just kept telling myse...

Following a timing strategy alone won't help you get high scores. You know how the algorithm works. Timing strategy helps you keep track of time say for every 5 questions I should use only 10 mins and if I have crossed that limit, then I would skip or make an educated guess and move on to the next q...

You said 2 - 3 hours and 6 - 8 hours daily, so what you have to do is leave the books for 3 to 4 days, don't touch the books at all not even the forums or anything related to GMAT. Then on the 5th day retake a GMATPrep mock, which you took already. Take it with AWA and IR, some people are so afraid ...

Take a GMATPrep mock and then decide. I have never crossed 640 in MGMAT tests, but my GMATPrep scores have gone all the way to 750. Even after scoring a 680 in the actual test, I haven't gone past 640 yet in MGMAT tests :) Take other test prep mock scores with a grain of salt. Useful to get the tast...

200 point improvement in 3 weeks is very hard. I would blatantly say, its impossible unless of course your practice tests are skewed in some way. This is not to discourage you, but do not waste an attempt knowing that you won't make it - as simple as that. Take a GMAT Prep mock with 8 min breaks and...

√x^2y^3+3x^2y^3 =√4x^2y^3 Why don't the y's add up? I mean, if you add the x's (x^2+3x^2) then should the y's add up too? (y^3+y^3=2y^3) x^2y^3 is a single term and 3x^2y^3 is independent term. Its same as adding xy + 2xy = 3xy, you cannot say something like 3x2y, I assume that's what your doub...

I assume the sq.root applies to the whole term

sq.rt(x^2 y^3 + 3x^2y^3)
= sq.rt(4x^2y^3)
= (2^2 * x^2 * y^3)^1/2
= 2xy*(y)^1/2, which is the given answer.

3 weeks and a 100 point increase is a bit difficult, but not impossible. Take a GMATPrep immediately. Always remember that GMATPrep is the only indicator of your actual capability, other tests are useful only to a certain extent - to get the testing experience and to find your strong/weak areas. You...
