Finally its over680(47,36)-->640(48,29)-->690(49,34)

I am relieved although not very happy as i wanted to cross the 700 barrier, but thats ok.. my verbal skills are not that good i guess.. should have read some books/novels early on :). Timming is the main thing if you are weak in either Quant or Verbal. For me I panicked in my first attempt in Quant ...

ans is B
if speed is s and time taken is t
st = 400

also (s+20)(t-1)=400 ...ya its t-1..typo corrected

you have 2 equations solve it and we get s=80 t=5
solving will give 1 -ve and 1 +ve value.. discard the -ve.

ans is C 100/21

Let revenue last month be r

Given 220*p=1.1r (220 tckts at p price gives 110% )

r = 220p/1.1 = 200p ---- last months revenue

Now if price is incresed by 5%

200(1.05p) = 210p -- this month

Difference is 10p

So (10p/210p) *100 = 100/21

Whats the OA ?

Ans... D
1)
angle bao = boa = x
angle obc = ocb = y

Now cod is 60, equal to sum of opposite angles oab and oca
x+y = 60

similarly obc = bao + boa
y = 2x

solve these x = 20.
2) is easy..

given xy =1
2^(x+y)^2 / 2^(x-y)^2

2^(x^2 + y^2 + 2xy) / 2^(x^2 + y^2 - 2xy)

2^x^2 * 2^y^2 * 2^2xy / 2^x^2 * 2^y^2 * 2^-2xy

Cancel out and we are left with 2^2xy / 2^-2xy

xy =1

4 * 4 = 16 therefore C

Its D.. as it is given that a/b is even means it cannot be 10/2 as 5 is odd... so a can be 8 or 12.
Then (a+2)/2 is always odd.
