I know this question was posted 3 years ago but I'd still appreciate a response. I had a question regarding statement 1, plugging in isnt the right approach to this then. Because when I use k = 2, the remainder is 1 however if k = 3, the remainder is 0. I didnt think of opening out the cube. Is ther...

Correction:
For one of my posts, someone commented saying that if you get a large number of SC qs incorrect, then chances are your seeing easy questions and thats why are able to score well in CR and RC.
Is that better framed? Not saying this is always the case...

Thanks Vineesh, again. With Quant practice, should I practice my weak spots or a bit of everything? dpkece: i clearly am no expert. but i think the mgmat cats are pretty good with explanations. if you have any of the MGMAT guides, you should get access to all 6 CATS. Mr Potter: I reckon you will ace...

Study Plan - GMAT in 4 weeks
Hi All, I have my GMAT in around 4 weeks. Like a lot of GMAT takers, my quant is decent - average Q47 on prep tests. However, verbal is a disaster. V28 - 29. I figured SC was probably the only section of Verbal I could really improve in. Challenging SC topincs: Tenses, Modifiers and Idioms. I have g...

Hey,
Manhattan's SC guide has a detailed explaination of the grammar rules tested on the GMAT. Each chapter is also followed by the list of OG12 and Verbal Review questions for that topic.
Hope this is handy

Another one. Run some searches in G. You'll surely find some practice sums. Lots of questions in the MGMAT CAT tests too.

Swapna, I find Quant/Verbal Review guides tougher than OG Review. I would suggest (this may not be the best advice) going over the areas, in both Quant and Verbal, that you find slightly tough for maybe the next 5 - 6 days. Beyond that, I'd say stick to the skills you have built up and just practice...

3 weeks to go - Verbal Strat
Hi, My GMAT exam is in about 3 weeks time. I am currently scoring around 600 Q43-45 V23-28. I really need to improve my verbal skills. I make the maximum errors in SC. RC isn't too bad except for the last RC passage where I tend to guess due to time restrictions. I also tend to take longer to answer...

Hey, I have my GMAT in about 3 weeks as well. My last score was 600 Q43 V28. I had a major panick attack over the weekend but after getting some advice from Vineesh and some others, I'm back on track! I think the best one can do is go over the topics that you are making mistakes in, specially the co...

Hi Manish,
Thanks for the links. I was looking for a list that covers all the Math concepts and not just Fractions. I used fractions only as an example.
Thanks anyways
