Get a massage! I rarely ever get a massage so it was a special treat for me. I left work early and had a 60 minute massage. After that, I was so relaxed. I went home and slept like a baby. Really helped me calm down and focus. The day before the exam, don't let yourself think about the exam. Just pu...

There's still hope!
I just took my test yesterday and I'm very pleased with the results. My final score was 700, 90th percentile. This may not be the optimal score for some people who are really reaching for a high 700s. But for those of you who just want to nab that 700 threshold but are struggling, there is still hop...

I just took my test yesterday and I ended up scoring a 700! I was really happy with my results and am pleased to say that I'm officially done with the GMAT : ) Thanks for all the words of wisdom and encouragement. Thanks for all the advice! I ended up just taking the test since I was already within the 7 day period and couldn't postpone it without just canceling it all together. I ended up scoring a 700! I was very happy with my results and happy to say that I won't be retaking it. : )

Thanks for the feedback! The practice set was from a mgmat practice test, I just did the first 20 of both. The questions I was getting wrong were actually quite easy, like 300-500 range! I was just making silly mistakes or falling for obvious traps. I performed a lot better on the more difficult que...

P.S.- I'm definitely going to walk in there with the attitude that I am going to crush the test and never have to go back to that testing center again. I'm not even studying today, I have a massage scheduled this evening to relax, I'm going to eat a good dinner, and then get some sleep. But I still ...

bombing the GMAT
I'm going to take my GMAT tomorrow, and I'm fairly certain that it's going to be a complete and utter failure. I've been studying vigorously for over three months now. My goal was a 700. I took a practice test mid way through my studies to guage my progress and scored a 660. At the time, I was pleas...

Mike- How did your test go back in January? I found this post because I'm having similar issues. Was looking for feedback if you were able to resolve those issues and if so, how what you did. Thanks!

Thanks for the responses. I actually used my stopwatch from the beginning and have used the stopwatch feature on manhattan gmat's website extensively to complete 5-problem to 10-problem sets of OG questions. This definitely helped my timing on the quant section- for the first time I didn't run out o...

Help on Improving Quant Section- Timing?
I'm consistantly scoring low in the quant section. When I review my errors, most of the time I can solve the question, or easily understand it once the answer is presented to me. However, at the time of the test, I struggle. A lot of the questions I know I could solve in under 5 minutes, but under 2...

I think you are right about the nerves. I went through my test and quite a few of the mistakes were careless errors. Most of the other questions were ones that I could do once the timer was off. I didn't feel nervous taking the test though, I was calm in the comfort of my own home. Some of the quest...

One week countdown and score is getting worse
I've been studying for over three months now and was aiming for a 700, though at this point I'm not sure I'm capable of that and would settle for a high 600. I took a practice test mid February to gauge my progress and scored a 660 on the GMAT prep software, that was my first real test ever. Then I ...
