I got the 1st part where you identified the consecutive even integers.
But I'm confused regarding the numbers carried over to the next sum!

S is the infinite sequence S1 = 2, S2 = 22, S3 = 222,...Sk = Sk-1 + 2(10k-1). If 4/x<1/3 what is the possible range of values for x? in case 1: x > 0 4/x < 1/3 12>x It says on the MGMAT Guide: If x and y are positive then flip the inequality if 1/3 > 1/5 then 3 < 5 and assumming both sides are positive in case 1, i flipped the inequality What am I missing here? Inequality Problem

How can you come up with the value of x using statement 2 ? Or am i missing something here ? is xy = -1 ? we cannot substitute y = 1 in xy = -1 and say x = -1. xy can be = 4 or 8 or -12.
