If you feel like you have practiced enough, go ahead and watch some videos from the "Thursdays with Ron" series. I came across them during the final week of my prep, and they helped me immensely. Watch the videos on your weaker topics. It's good because he goes over a few practice problems...

Depends on your target score.

Also, it's not only the number of questions you get right that matters. Are you able to solve them in roughly 2-3 minutes (quant) or 1.5-2 minutes (verbal)?

Actually, I don't plan on applying to B-schools at least for a couple of years. I just finished my undergrad and want to gain decent work experience. I figured I could at least take the GMAT as early as possible.

Okay so I just finished my undergrad and graduated in May. But a lower credit load during my final, spring semester allowed me to begin studying for the GMAT in March. I originally had no idea as to how/where to start, so I started browsing forums looking for answers. BTG eventually came to play a h...

710 Q49 V39 AWA5.5

Hey everyone, Just took the GMAT today. Scored a 710 (92nd %ile) Q49 (86th %ile), V39 (87th %ile). Needless to say, I'm thrilled (and all the other adjectives along those lines). Started studying for it 2nd week of March and registered for the exam mid-April. I'll post something a bit more detailed ...

Thanks, David.

I guess I'll keep practicing/reviewing until I'm done with rest of the 2nd edition Q/V problems.

Should I take the 2nd GMATPrep now?

Hey everyone, I have already taken the first GMATPrep twice. I still have the second one left. I'm wondering whether I should take it now (before I finish all the problems in OG Quant/Verbal 2nd edition) or save it until after the practice. Going through all the problems and analyzing errors prior t...

Weirdly enough, I scored higher on MGMATs, and then when I took my first GMATPrep, I got a lower score. You can read about that here: http://www.beatthegmat.com/scores-very-different-on-gmatprep-kaplan-and-mgmat-t82098.html#361218 I suggest taking a GMATPrep to gauge where you are in relation to you...

I have never run out of time in any of the practice CATs I have taken. Looking back at the GMATPrep, I notice silly mistakes on 4-5 problems (misread the problem or solved for something else in a hurry). Also, Data sufficiency is my weakness. At times (on the tougher questions), I find myself simply...

Scores very different on GmatPrep, Kaplan, and MGMAT

Hey guys, This is my first time posting on here, but I have been browsing around the site for a few weeks now. It's a great network. On to my question/concern. I have been preparing for the GMAT for just over a month. I'm not sure what to make of this. So my MGMAT 1 and 2 scores were 640 (Q44, V33) ...
