I'll prefer A here.
Declined other options using "with" bcos it's supposed to function as a PREP - no active verbs

Expert Opinions pls.

(A) each a roof of poles and arrowweed
(B) each a roof of poles and arrowweed that are being
(C) with each being a roof of poles and arrowweed
(D) with roofs of poles and arrowweed to be
(E) with roofs of poles and arrowweed that are
B: poles and arrowweed that are being supported by poles
Not the intended meaning:
The poles and arrowweed are not being supported by poles.
The intended meaning is that the ROOF WAS SUPPORTED by poles.
Eliminate B.

Generally, COMMA + with at the end of a sentence serves as an ADVERB modifying the VERB in the preceding clause.
C: The Mojavi lived...with each being a roof
D and E: The Mojavi lived...with roofs
Here, the with-modifiers are misused:
Neither serves to express to express HOW the Mojavi LIVED.
Eliminate C, D and E.

The correct answer is A.
