Hello,
I would like to get an evaluation of my profile. My dream school is Haas-Berkeley Columbia EMBA program. I want to see what are my chances of getting into EMBA programs. I live in the bay area. I also have Wharton San Francisco, UCLA EMBA in my list.

Age: 30
Ethnicity: Indian
Work experience: 9 yrs in Health care IT. for the past 3 yrs, I am working as a Manager, Product Engineering department.
GMAT Score: 720 (Q50, V37)
Recommendation: I can get solid recommendation from my current and past directors.
Extra-curricular activities: Cricket team captain in college and Volunteer at Education Foundation for the past 6 months.
Career goals: Work in executive positions for health care product company that innovate products that can seamlessly integrate all health care systems (Marketing, Sales, Benefit, Claims, Member, Provider, UM etc)

Please let me know about my chances of getting into EMBA programs mentioned above. I perfer EMBA programs over part-time programs because I can graduate in less than 2 yrs and also the candidates will be more inline with my experience.

Please let me know if I am correct in proceeding with EMBA programs over part-time MBA programs.

Thank you

You are definitely correct in your decision to prefer full time EMBA to Part-time. You appear to have an impressive profile too.

Hello,

Your work experience seems appropriate for EMBA programs, and your stats make you competitive for these top EMBA programs. I agree that they would be a better fit for your needs, in terms of classmate peers ad other factors.

On the other hand you are young for such programs. Your strategy therefore should be to highlight your scope of decision making responsibility, high level of impact, and responsibility for professional direct reports in your essays and application. I have worked with people who have your situation of being quite qualified for top EMBA programs but relatively young, and so I know from experience that it's possible to overcome that one issue with a compelling application.

Best regards,
