In the rectangular coordinate system, line k is defined by the equation x - 2y + n = 0. What is the value of n?

(1) The x-intercept of line k is 8.

Hi,
x-2y+n =0
From(1) : line pass through (8,0).So, 8+n=0
Sufficient
From(2) : line pass through (0,-4). 8+n=0
Sufficient

Hence, D

Sufficient
b)y-intercept means value of y when x=0. Thus 2 variables are known. we can find n
