(A) while being an adolescent
(B) while in adolescence
(C) at the time of her being adolescent
(D) as being in adolescence
(E) as an adolescent

I am confused between C & E.

C is very wordy and awkward.

E is clear and concise.

Will go with E.

Hope this is the correct answer.
